About me

"I began cutting hair in Austin, Texas, towards the end of 2016. During that time, I connected with my soon-to-be mentor, Curt Darling, who not only encouraged me to pursue hair sculpting but graciously shared his salon and dry cutting techniques with me. After spending a few years at The Grand Barbershop and my good friend Matt’s shop, Honest Barber, I ventured to west Texas to establish a place of my own. Fast forward to today, or as Elaine would say, 'yada yada yada,' and here I am in ABQ.

When I'm not meticulously working on a single strand of hair, I'm immersed in the world of music and the quirky things that produce it (or noise, depending on who you ask). I find joy in forgotten musical gear from the '80s and '90s, tinkering with analog tape machines, patching modular melodies, and perhaps indulging a bit too much in delay. I've crafted guitars, pedals, amps, effects, and pretty much anything I think will produce a new noise.

Beyond the realms of hair and melodies, I have a penchant for old German cars, vintage houses, aged Brandy, almost every movie (especially the not-so-great ones), and a myriad of other interests.

If you've made it this far, kudos to you. Congratulations! Feel free to overlook any grammatical or spelling hiccups and other quirks you just encountered. Thanks for taking the time to delve into my story. Now, let’s cut your hair!"
